Backfile Conversion Services

TCi’s Backfile Conversion Services constitute a simple, cost effective way to convert paper documents into an electronic format. TCi can perform these services at our conversion facilities in Sacramento, or we can setup a conversion center at the customer’s location.

TCi’s Backfile Conversion Services include:

Document Pickup
TCi will arrange for documents to be picked-up from your location.

Document Preparation
Remove staples and paper clips, tape torn pages

Scanning
Pages are scanned using high-speed scanning equipment and stored electronically

Indexing
Key data entry for document naming and retrieval

Transfer to Archive Media
Images and data transferred to CD-ROM or DVD media

Document Destruction or Return
Original paper documents can be shred or returned back to you

Output Options

• Document Management Application
  Electronic documents can be formatted to import directly into any document management application such as Laserfiche or imageWARE.
• Adobe PDF format
  Documents can be converted from TIFF file format to Adobe PDF and stored on a network share or hard drive.
• Laserfiche Plus
  The Laserfiche Plus Application includes an integrated search engine and document viewer that can be included with your electronic documents on CD-ROM.
• Web Hosting
  Coupled with the TCi Web Hosting Services, documents can accessed from via secured server environment via the Internet.
